Privacy Policy of the QlikView.work website
Version 1.0, in force since 12 October 2026.
This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit the website qlikview.work or send us the contact form, for what purpose, for how long, with whom we share it and what rights you have. It is written to be read in full in a few minutes.
In short: the Site uses no cookies, has no analytics tools and stores nothing in your browser. We only process the data you send us yourself through the form, and only to reply to you.
1. Controller
QUICKBYTES, UNIPESSOAL LDA, tax no. 517717301, Avenida Elias Garcia, n.ยบ 141-B, 1050-050 Lisbon, Portugal (quickbytes.pt). Contact for data protection matters: geral@quickbytes.pt, subject "Data protection".
2. Which data we process
Contact form data, which you enter yourself: name, work email, organisation, approximate number of QlikView applications in use and a free-text message. The form has a hidden field that visitors do not see and that serves only to detect automated submissions; if it is filled in, the request is ignored and nothing is stored.
Technical data, collected automatically when the page is served: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page address, the browser type and the preferred language, which we use only to show you the Site in your language. This data stays in the logs of the infrastructure described in section 5.
We do not ask for or process special categories of data, such as health data. Do not write that kind of information in the form.
3. Purposes and legal basis
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Reply to your request and prepare a possible proposal | Form data | Pre-contractual steps at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) |
| Keep the correspondence exchanged, to follow up on the contact | Form data and emails exchanged | Legitimate interest in keeping the contact history (Article 6(1)(f)) |
| Serve the Site in your language and protect it against abuse | Technical data | Legitimate interest in keeping the Site running and secure (Article 6(1)(f)) |
| Comply with legal obligations and respond to authorities | The data required in each case | Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) |
4. What we do not do
- We use no cookies, neither our own nor third-party ones, and we store nothing in your browser.
- We use no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
- We do not sell your data or hand it over for advertising.
- We make no automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
- We do not use the form data to train artificial intelligence systems.
5. With whom we share the data
The Site and the form run on the infrastructure of the following processors:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA, with infrastructure in the European Union): hosts the Site, protects the traffic and sends the email with the form data. Cloudflare sees your IP address and the request metadata, and keeps execution logs of the Site for a few days. Transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and by standard contractual clauses. Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Google (Google Ireland Ltd. for users in the European Union): the email with the form data is delivered to a Quickbytes Google mailbox, where it is stored. Google privacy policy.
When you open a page, your browser also downloads third-party files needed to display it: the typeface, from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), and two presentation libraries, from cdn.tailwindcss.com and unpkg.com. Those services see your IP address and the technical data of the request, under their own policies. None of them receives the form data.
We only disclose data to authorities when the law requires it.
6. How long we keep the data
- Form data and correspondence: for as long as the contact lasts and, at most, until two years after the last communication, unless a contract is concluded in the meantime, in which case they are kept for the periods of that contract.
- Technical logs at Cloudflare: up to seven days.
- Mailbox backups: up to 30 days after deletion, if any exist.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to rectify it, to erase it, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent where that is the legal basis. Write to geral@quickbytes.pt. We reply within one month at most. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD).
8. Security
- In transit: HTTPS on every connection to the Site and between Cloudflare and the mailbox.
- In the form: field validation, size limits and a hidden field against automated submissions. The data is not stored in any database of the Site; it travels only by email.
- In the mailbox: access restricted to authorised Quickbytes staff.
If a data breach occurs that may affect you, we inform you and the CNPD within the legal deadlines.
9. Cookies and local storage
The Site uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser: neither the language, which is chosen from the page address, nor preferences, nor identifiers. For that reason we ask for no consent and show no cookie notices. If this ever changes, we update this section first.
10. Minors
The Site is aimed at professionals and organisations. We do not knowingly collect data from people under 18. If you learn that a minor has sent us the form, let us know and we will delete the data.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a material way, we publish the new version on this page, with its date. The version in force is always at qlikview.work/privacy. The Terms and Conditions complement this policy.
